KIDS HELPING KIDS: FIGHTING CANCER WITH KNOWLEDGE is an art contest created by The Coco Foundation. The contest is intended for any student in grades 1-8 interested in creatively building awareness in ways children can help and support other children suffering from cancer. The contest is a competition to challenge students artistically and academically.
Bumper Sticker:Design a bumper sticker that will influence others on why donating to pediatric cancer research centers is important. You can create a message with words, pictures, or a combination of both.
Superhero:Design a superhero that will be a representative of the pediatric cancer community. Include the name of the superhero, their super power, and why s/he fights cancer.
T-Shirt:Design the front of a t-shirt that will show the world that you want to stop cancer and research is the key. You may include a written message, if desired.
Prizes:Grand prize winners for each design category will receive:
- $150 American Express Gift Card.
- Classroom party up to $100 in value.
The two finalists in each category will receive:
- $50 American Express Gift Card.
- A set of greeting cards commemorating all category winners and finalists.
